We stayed at Menin Gate House for one night and it was the perfect location to explore the town. The apartment is filled with unique memorabilia from the Last Post Association, giving it a special and historic feel. Benoit, our host, was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable about the war and places to visit. The apartment itself was comfortable, well-equipped, and had a lovely courtyard for outdoor meals. The Flanders Field museum nearby was an inspirational and engaging experience for the whole family.
Do recommend this hotel.

The location was absolutely incredible, right in the heart of the historical area. It was so convenient to be just steps away from all the important sites and attractions. the host was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, providing us with valuable insights and recommendations during our stay.
The noise level in the twin bedroom. If the upstairs apartment was occupied, it could get quite noisy and make it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The apartment was spacious and beautifully decorated, with authentic WWI artifacts that added to the ambiance. The hosts, Benoit and Isabelle, were outstanding and made us feel very welcome. Perfect location near famous historical sites. Amazing links to the Last Post ceremony. The owner, Mr. Mottrie, was welcoming and made us feel like royalty. The apartment was clean, modern, and comfortable. Being able to cook our own meals was a welcome change. Helpful and knowledgeable host.
The fact that the stairs are shared with the guests in the second-floor apartment may be inconvenient for some. The second bedroom not having an ensuite toilet was a minor issue.
